I have to admit, my husband and I were a little skeptical when reading the reviews for this item, because it wasn't exactly RAVED about. So we were expecting the heater to go within the first week that we had it. Well, it's been about a month now, and knock-on-wood, it's still clearing the back window in our car the way it's supposed to. We don't have any complaints about this product, except for the fact that we wish it had a foot longer on the cord.
much smaller than i originally thought would be. unless you are 2 inches from it you can feel no warmth.
It is not generating warmth at the first place. I bought it even I saw someone's comment about the burning plastic smell. I regretted my decision at the moment I turned it on. Second, that smell is really really bad. They should stop making this product.
If it blew air faster, then it would just blow cold air as the heating coils can't get enough electricity to heat up enough to heat more air. It's a 12 volt heater, you are not going to get much heat from it. It doesn't blow very much, but that's expected. So, just like any other 12 v heater, it's weak. It won't heat your car, but it will defrost your window a little.
First one lasted 3 days then quit working. [.].That one never worked right out of the box. Koolatron didn't respond to my emails about the second unit. I wouldn't recommend this product, nor any other product from this company.
